The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) awarded INCOIS in the category of "Top 10 Institutions Championing Excellence in Women in STEM" at a national-level event held at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, on November 19, 2024. This award is part of an initiative to promote and enhance the representation of women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics in industry and institutions, encouraging equal representation of women in the STEM workforce and contributing to India's vision for gender equality in STEM.

The event was graced by dignitaries such as Dr. Akhilesh Gupta, Senior Adviser in DST, Professor Ajay Sood, Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government of India, Dr. V K Saraswat, Member of NITI Aayog, Dr. Brajesh Pandey, Executive Director of the Indian National Science Academy, and CII officials.
